I’ve been looking around the “used car supermarkets” online, and can’t work out which one is really worth a click. For example, the Autoquake.com price watch say they are 10% cheaper than anyone else, where you have others, such as carshop.co.uk who say they offer lowest price guarantee, and even cargiant.co.uk say they offer the cheapest prices. So which one really does offer the best price?
I’ve been looking for a used honda accord and willing to travel if i’m really going to get the best price. and so far, i’ve found the following: -
CarGiant.com can offer me a 06 plate 2.0EX for £7,799
CarShop.co.uk offer me a 05 plate 2.2i CTDI Sports for £6,411
Autoquake.com can offer me a 05 plate, 2.2iCDTI Sprots for £6,903 (+59)
Although both CarGiant and Carshop had a wide range of Honda Accords, AutoQuake.com only had 3 to choose from.
So with this in mind, is autoquake really a car supermarket, or do they just sell a few vehciles and want to be known as a supermarket.
I’m still looking into which company to get in touch with, but looking for any help or advise on which one to contact, and would like to hear from anyone who had dealings with any or all of the above companies to help point me in the right direction.

I’d suggest taking a look at Motorpoint – They are the UK’s number one car supermarket. You’ll find a wide selection of Accord’s as well as Civic’s. The former comes with a saving of over £7,500 on new.
Bought from autoquake two weeks ago – great experience apart from the automated phone system. Price was better than most, there was no trouble whatsoever. Car was as described on the website, and what really convinced me was the 7 day window to have the car refunded in case something went wrong.
your mileage may vary, but as far as I am concerned, I can only recommend autoquake.
I was looking to replace my car for a new hatchback last month…I had a look around a few forecourts and an Audi A3 really took my eye at the car shop. The staff were really friendly & helpful, I went for a test-drive & bought the car!
